Topic: Where are the reviews for NSMB Wii?

Well, i played it today as a press member, and all i have to say is that it's AEWESOME. Specially in multiplayer. Game of the Christmast undoubtly.

They gave it a 9/10. Never heard of the site but found it on Metacritic.

@Devil_Hunter_Dante: CVG are a network of gaming sites, mostly (wholly?) hosting the sites of the UK 'Official' gaming magazines, ONM included. I wouldn't be that suprised if CVG's review is just pulled from the ONM section of the site.

NGamer gave it an score in the high eighties (I don't have the magazine to hand atm), I guess I can agree with that.

CVG's opinion is interesting the opposite of Edge's. One prefers single-player while the other prefers multi-player. CVG's complaint sounds reasonable, as much as I wish it were not the case. Waiting for other players to get to the edge of the screen in LBP after you've already completed a challenge is annoying. I would like to think that playing together on a sofa rather than online would change this dynamic, though. If I am playing with my sister or a friend, I will either be helping or hindering them (depending on what mood I'm in), not just waiting idly, and that ought to make the game more enjoyable, especially in challenge mode. This game needs to come out now.

The review sounded a lot like ONM's writing style but seeing as ONM gave it a 96 and CVG gave it a 9.0 I'm not so sure. Also, I'm pretty sure ONM really liked the multiplayer, and CVG seemed to be on the fence about it.

When they first announced this I did not think I was going to get it and then they started showing off the propeller suit and the level designs the more I wanted this game. I am going to be so broke because of this, Metroid Other M, No More Heroes 2, Monster Hunter 3, Arc Rise Fantasia and probably Super Mario Galaxy 2.

A little over a week isn't close? Cuz it seems pretty close to me.

I thought it was two weeks...well I usually don't reviews until like a day or two before the games out.

It's a bit early, I am surprised Edge got it out so early.

I was going to make a post about this one, but since you posted it already why duplicate. 9.2 is freaking good score, can't for Sunday looking forward to playing this game!

Don't worry, Nintendo Power will review it soon. They're just waiting for Nintendo to tell them exactly what to write and what score to give it.

Oooooh that CVG review has got me majorly hyped now.I was hoping that the single player mode was good and it sounds awesome ,multi-player sounds fun and everything but for me single player is where this is at . Oh and I guarantee that many games from now on will copy nintendos SuperGuide mode, is this another step towards the interactive movie some gamers crave? who knows! I won't be using it.... I hope
