I'm sure you all know about the Conduit now, and are quite hyped up about its release - we certainly are! With the speculation flying around at the moment, this could be the best FPS to hit the Wii - some brave souls even reckon it may be the next best thing since sliced Goldeneye!
The long and short of this thread is that we're actually popping down to a conduit event on May 1st - hosted by Sega - and we've got the opportunity to interview some of the game's developers from High Voltage. Now, we have a few of our own questions prepared, of course, but we wanted to know if you have anything you would like to ask of the developers: is there something you want to know prior to the game's release?
If you do have any questions you would like to ask, post them here and we'll do our best to get them answered by the developers. The ones asked will depend on which developers are present - we might not be able to ask about every aspect - but we'll do our best to come equipped with your questions. So make 'em good ones!
Not a question, but if one of you wouldn't mind begging on your knees for split-screen, I'd appreciate it. Shed a tear or two and you'll have better odds. You've got to really feel it.
-Will there be any melee specific weapons in the game? -How many maps will there be in the game? -Any map editor? -Will there be any chance of co-op in this or the next Conduit? -Have you ever thought of putting vehicles in the game? -Will there be a chance for vehicles in the future Conduit? -Any chance for customizable weapons in the game or the nest Conduit? (Like silencers, red dot sites, scopes, etc.) Sorry if some of these questions are already answered.
The more questions the better! I'll be sitting down and giving the game a whirl on the day, so I should be able to filed a few of those questions from playing, but I will make sure that anything not covered will be asked.
One very important question: Can you please ask them for a guarantee that the PAL version will havbe a 60hz mode and we won't be screwed over like we were with recent PAL games like Madworld which was released in 50hz with borders. That's an important assurance to get I feel.

Yea, I know, that's why I said please;) Well.....I guess it wouldn't matter anyway because I bet The Conduit 2 would not be released too far off from the original.

I want to know more about its single player mode, much has been made of its online play, but its the single player aspect I'm interested in, like is there a lot of boss battles, and mission/tactical elements to the game, or is it more of a Quake style blaster, I'd like to know what kind of variety the single player game offers.

Will there be any system of "achievements/trophies" to encourage multiple single player playthroughs? (Instead of just switching to online play all the time)

Not many questions to ask, as a lot of them have already been answered. If this game runs smoothly with 12 players online it should sell like hot cakes. But I have a one last request and a question:
Could HVS release top view drawings of the multiplayer maps? Are the fan predictions that HVS is working on a RTS for the Wii accurate?
HVS RTS?! Awesome! Make sure to ask that one (after my more personal questions, of course). OK, serious question, though it seems like a question they'll likely have to give a non-answer to: If Conduit is successful enough to warrant a sequel, would split-screen local player be a priority, given the nature of the Wii as a party console?
