Topic: WaW > MWR

I've been playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex for a week now and so far I think World at War is better. I couldn't believe the framerate drop when playing single player. I knew the graphics weren't going to be spectacular, but the game is pretty ugly in many places even for a Wii game. WaW looks and plays better. Online is pretty frustrating when shots don't register, even if the guy is right in front of me. I've adjusted fairly well to lag shooting for WaW, but for MWR I just can't get it. Overall, it is an OK game. I don't regret getting it, but after playing WaW, I was a little disappointed.

I disagree. I think the graphics on MWii can look crappy in some places, but in other places they look amazing for a Wii game. And the control editing is second only to the Conduit, but I hated that game. THe online for MWii, while definitely having some lag issues, was more compelling for me as they had at least three times the challenges that WaW had. And once you get used to some of the nuisances, it just becomes so much fun. Plus, I think the maps are a lot better than in WaW, better than MW2 (yeah I know it's not a Wii game).

ok so i have not played either one and i love FPS especially on the wii. right now gamestop has them for the same price. which should i get?

Buy World at War, rent MWR. If it turns out you like it, then buy it later. WaW is a must have.

Another thing about MWR. I really like all the added maps and game modes for online play, but I miss the detailed end match summary. With MWR all you really get is a point tally. The streak bonuses also aren't as fun as WaW. I miss the dogs, lol.

I say go for MW i dont have MW but WaW is probly gonna go down in price 1st

Isnt W@W´s multiplayer already destroyed by cheaters ? I heard it is. Anyway, I prefer modern warfare over world war 2. As a German and some one who knows a lot about (military) history, playing CoD 2 on PC back then was almost painfully.

MW has already been hacked too. I haven't seen an online game yet that isn't. I've been playing WaW for awhile now, so I can easily spot cheaters. It's kind of fun to hunt down the cheaters and kill them.

ok, I decided to get WaW. can't wait to play it. if it is all i hope it is than i'll get reflex too. thanks for all the advice. deciding factor was that i like to shoot Nazis. That's what growing up on wolfenstien will get you...
