@longtimegamer: Ahh just saw it. Sorry that you were insulted by it. I was a bit insulted myself that you'd use those tactics in a friend match, after so many people on this very site have complained about it. I can sort of see camping when you're trying to rack up ranking points, but doing that with friends in a match for fun is downright annoying.
But no hard feelings, let's just not do it anymore.
@Pixelman - Thanks for the apology. Make me feel better. I think I was kind of embarassed that I did something that would make you or others here think I was a cheap jerk ignoring your comments. Sorry about that.
Yeah. With friends here I can agree with that. Though it could be kind of hard to take a base if it ends up being 1 on 1. So anything outside of friendmatch is ok if there are others.
I hope you see why I used it so much. I actually did try not to use it too much once and ended up regretting it because that person started using it and I got screwed.
Those powers do tend to suck when you're on the recieving end.
Edit- I actually went back through this post, I believe it was to see what you comment about peoples complaints of this were about.
Just came back from playing. I'll be playing again later tonight. Although I love Assault, I HATE it when people are cheap and use hammer/raincoat. When I beat people like that and steal the base without those items, it's so gratifying.
@Knuckles - How often are you able to win that way? I know one time I somehow ended up playing just me against 3 others. I used either the raincoat or the hammer and actually took their base. In that situatation, I think you definatly should be able to do it, just to even the odds.
I hadn't realize that I was actually going up against 3 at first. Not sure how I figured it out but, basically I would have been screwed without one of those powers. To be honest, I was like YES!! When I actually beat them dispite me situation.
Anyways yesterday(last night I think) I was playing against 3 other guys with one other person alot of the time and they were kicking the crap out of us alot of the time. It seemed like they we're getting to our post awfully fast at times, giving us barelly any time at all to try to take over their. It was also ticking me off how those same 3 guys were teamed together alot. Once I got one of them on mine when I would have been by myself, but when someone else joined..they were right back together. One weird thing was that they were dressed in the same clothes.
Edit- KnucklesSonic8 - I'll try not to use those in friend matches..ok? Otherwise all bets are off. I don't see how I could beat others that are using these tactics, unless I was lucky.
