Topic: Virtual Console - how?

Okay, I may sound like an idiot, but I'm whole new here and don't understand the system.
I know what VC is, but where do I download the VC games? What does it cost, and if it takes some kind of points, how do I get that?
And how do I get the games to the Wii, for example?

You have to have your Wii connected to the internet, and download the games from the Wii Shop Channel.

hook your wii to the internet, so you can downloadstuff off the wii shop channel. Get wii point cards (around 20 $ in most stores, in the us anyways) from places like walmart, kmart, bestbuy, gamestop, etc...
or credit or debit card.

You might have to download the shop channel first, after you hook up. I dont recall for sure, but I believe so Been awhile).
