I'm not a big tennis gamer but this really has blown me away. It plays extremely well on the sideways remote and after a bit of practice, the motion controls really work well with Motion Plus. It's a crying shame that they have their own mode and you can't play the main game with them. Probably the worst thing about the game. I don't think I need another tennis game for a while.

What the hell? You can't use MotionPlus for all of the modes? That's messed up. But still, it's nice to hear it has button controls... because the MP controls were messed up in VT2009 anyway.

I'll pick this up when it drops in price, thanks for the heads up. Oh, and does it have online too?

Seems like it.

I (regrettably) don't have a tennis game for Wii (besides the OK Mario Power Tennis Wii-make). I should just bite the dust and get this one. Tennis is my favorite sport anyways.

Grand Slam Tennis was pretty good, but it literally took me like 10 hours before I could stop fighting the controls. VT2009 was borderline awful, but VT is designed to be played with buttons, so this one should be good. :3

Yep, it has online multiplayer, but you have to play it without MotionPlus.

I loved VT2009 despite the glitches and common complaints, so I'm really disappointed in the lack of MotionPlus in VT4. (It took me a few days to get a hang of VT2009's motion controls, but afterwards, I loved it.)

I may give VT4 a rental eventually, but I'm really bummed about the controls.

I loved EA Grand Slam, but apparantly this latest version of VT hardly uses motion controls, let alone Wii Motionplus. WTF? VT 2009 was pretty good motionplus game too!

As a huge fan of the original Virtua Tennis on Dreamcast, can someone tell me how this one compares? I assume it'll be better, but what are the main differences?

I'm curious about this game as well, the Dreamcast games were a lot of fun, the lack in motion plus is really strange but the sideways wiimote could be decent for simple controls.
