I got it. It's a really good game. I'm hoping it sells well because Vic Ireland said if it did it would help him to bring more games over here. :3

And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

I downloaded it late last night. What I've played of it so far is fantastic. I am so glad that this game was released on the Virtual Console.

Yep got it. Great game! I bet alot of people will ignore it though simply because it's not a popular game. Those people would be fools.

I didn't like this game as much as I had hoped to. Maybe it's because I'm simply bad at it but there are some really frustrating parts in it. For example, in the first area I cannot get to the top platform because there are enemies in two middle platforms that move really fast and I have to dash on them to jump higher. Both middle platforms have little room and I can't even jump to the higher platform without taking a hit at least once from these enemies. Also, there's a part where as soon as I enter the character that I'm controlling falls down and lies on his back and I ended up taking a hit. What's up with that? All in all, it was a disappointing game that did not live up to my expectations.

I downloaded this game several weeks ago. It's a great game but it is rather short, unfortunately. I like how it is sort of a blend between Super Mario Bros. 2 and Metroid. The music, graphics and animation are some of the best on NES.

Haven't really taken the time to beat the final boss though.

It's kinda dumb, but you have to hold Down while jumping on enemies to stomp them, otherwise you take a hit.
Oh, I think I know what you're talking about. If it's the ice room, you need to use a different character.

To stomp enemies you have to hold Down on the D-pad, otherwise you'll take damage. Stomped enemies may turn into balls with eyes you can grab and throw around to hit other enemies with. As for your character tripping and falling on his back, that's likely the icy area. You'll need a different character there.

I would buy this, but I just bought Mario 64, because I thought we were never getting another VC game... I do have 1200 points saved up, but those are for worms.

I have a website: www.the-manleys.blogspot.com

I thought we were never getting another VC game...

Come on, just because America now gets only one game a month over the summer doesn't mean there wouldn't ever be another VC game.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

Got it. Very much enjoying it. Utterly adorable with awesome music. Looking forward to making some more progress.

Is it just me, or are the parts where you have to freeze enemies absurdly hard? The game was a walk in the park, for the most part, up until this point, and I'm just way too frustrated to bother, though it was worth it just for what I got to play. Just need the last key. Is there a trick to it that makes it easier, or is it just a matter of being super fast and precise to make the jumps before they unfreeze? I switch to the ghost to make the jumps, then switch back to freeze again.

When you enter that room there's a staircase of floating enemies leading up. That part is optional. The item at the top is <POSSIBLE SPOILER!!>the Holy Water, which you can use once to refill all your energy</POSSIBLE SPOILER!!>.

The only mandatory part is below that area, where you have to cross two lava pools using the floating enemies as temporary platforms. Having your energy full helps a lot (with some patience you can fill it by killing the little toads that the toad-on-a-pedestal enemy spawns, over and over), since the lava acts like water. Also, for the last enemy in those sequences, I just jumped on its head and bounced to the other side, because I was too high up to reach it with the freezing breath. If you fall to the lava and are near the edge, switch to Freeon-Leeon and jump out.

Ahhhhhh. What a gem.

Oh, the game is good too. I just turned on a giant faucet and filled a room that I assume I need a fourth friend to swim through.

The funny thing about this game is that every time I formulate a real complaint, the game solves it. First I thought a map would be nice...so they gave me a map. Then I figured the map was useless because it didn't even tell me where I was, so it gave me a compass. Later on, I thought I'd go mad trying to remember where all those pickups were that I couldn't reach yet, so it gave me an item that marked them all on my map.

Any time now I'm expecting a beautiful naked woman to climb out of my Wii and shower me with dollar bills.

Long live Ufouria!

Say what?! I die when I hit the lava. Freeon can swim in it? I wonder if I just never thought to switch to him then, or if I did something wrong.

Also, I figured the top part was unnecessary, but what about that other lava segment at the top of the undeground area?
