Topic: The Virtual Console Arcade Thread

It will NEVER happen just because of the rights that are involved (especially people like Ultimate Warrior, Demolition and Hulk Hogan) but my dream game would be WWF Wrestlefest. I have the actual arcade game in my den (got it as a graduation present), but if they could bring this to the VC with online play it would just be the most awesome thing in the history of awesome.

Konami Support will be great ( especially for the 90 Arcade games like Sunset Riders, Vendetta, GI Joe, Asterix, Simpsons, and all the great Konami Shooters ( Parodius, Gradius, Salamander etc )

I loved the Simpsons. That game's fun.

If Domino Man, [Root Beer] Tapper, and Timber come to the VCA, that would be awesome.
But, it doesn't look like it's gonna happen any time soon.

The anniversary of the VCA is coming up. I wonder what will happen this week.

What are some of the best and worst games on VCA.

Ninja Gaiden stinks, but Golden Axe is pretty fun.

The only VCA game I downloaded is Mappy

Then i absolutley advise you to dowload The Tower of Druaga for the VCA if you have an extra 500 points laying around.

I'm Planning to get Gaplus, Mappy, and Tecmo Bowl.

I would have to say the best game on VCA is (you guessed it) The Tower of Druaga. The worst being Altered Beast.

Tower of Druaga - are you serious? I'll be nice and say it's not my cup of tea. Mappy is quite excellent though.

I know other people like it, otherwise Namco wouldn't be referencing it all the time in other games. Doesn't help me understand why though! If the pacing was better I'd probably be all over it; the fact that you need to find the items which only show up when you do obscure things in order to get to the end is also a big turn off.

I LOVE Tower of Druaga too. So glad I didn't listen to the review here.
