Ok, I'm starting this thread mainly because I have some questions about gameplay and wanted a place to "house" them all. So, to start ...
I've figured out a few of the special moves (particularly for Tekkaman and Jun) but I cannot execute the special moves that show a "Z" on the control followed by the "AT" (attack). So ... if the arrow on the Z is pointing forward (to execute Tekkaman's Super Spinning Tek Lancer move), does that mean I go forward, down, forward? I hope people know what I am talking about.

Here is a neat tip I stumbled up on. If you want to start the fight as your partner, hold down the P (partner button) before the fight begins. That way you surprise your opponent for a second.
On the main screen, change your control setting. I think there is a "Basic" or "Simple" setting. This will make Hyper Combos easier to execute. In your instruction booklet, it is the button input on the right side of the chart.
