Hey there, folks. I know a fair share of people have had the opportunity to play Tatsunoko vs Capcom already, and I know quite a bit about it myself, so feel free to ask any questions here as well as answer anything anyone has to ask.
From what I know, the final roster will be around 25 characters, with Yatterman no. 2 being the final announced playable character. The game will be online featuring lobby systems similar to that of the recently re-released Marvel vs Capcom 2 and also have icons next to player names to indicate play style in ranked matches (i.e. turtle players, spammers, etc.).
It features a two-man tag team system (think MvC2 minus one slot) and a four-button layout. Despite this, it has been labeled as being even more complex than MvC2, so the competitive scene definitely shows promise.
An official arcade fightstick will be released alongside the game at a price or $79.99 while the game itself will cost $49.99. Bundles including both for $124.99 are available on a few websites, including the Capcom Store.
So again, questions go here! I can't wait for this game! : D
Oh yes. I also have a question for anyone who can answer it. Does anyone know if Gamestop will be selling the Arcade FightStick bundle? I want to preorder it there in order to get the collectible trading cards that would come with it, but not if that means preordering both the stick and the game separately.
This is an fantastic idea for an thread. Let's keep it up. Here are my suggestion for asking a question and answering them.
When a question pops up, add it to the first post of the thread in bold and the answer below. If you don't understand what I'm saying, it's something like this:

Hey now, his crazy rules are just fine. Thanks for the suggestion!
Also, to answer your question, Thomas Joseph, yes the stick is definitely worth it. I have the original model that was made for Street Fighter IV on the Xbox 360, and it works like a charm. Not only that, but the buttons are fully customizable, so if you'd rather nitpick and get Sanwa parts, you can go right ahead. I'm told they're also using matte instead of a glossy finish this time around, so no more sweaty slipperiness!
Hori sticks tend to break after extensive use. I've had three die on me already. The other Nintendo products they make are great but man, those fightsticks are questionable. With that said, they're still the best alternative if you can't afford a MadCatz one.
This has online?!? I may get this. I have a Hori Fightstick that I mainly use for shumps and SNK Classics. I think it holds up pretty well. Maybe i'll go balls out and get the bundle so I can compare sticks (eww, that sounds... nevermind) and have another one for local multiplayer.

The music was absolutely awesome in the original, and added a lot to the feel of the game. You're really missing out.
My question: you make it sound as though the music will be different in the non-Japanese release. Is this so?

Question: Has anyone used a X-Gaming Arcade Joystick? I know TvC supports Gamecube control, which means I can use the Gamecube adapter with this joystick. A $129 price point (+$20 for the adapter) is a bit of an investment, but it appears that this stick really is top of the line. Anyone every play with one of these puppies? Can they vouch for it?

There have been rumors that the Japanese version will have both, but nothing has been confirmed at the moment.
Yep. In the original, the music playing would be the theme song of the last character switched into the current battle. It was awesome to switch in Ken and hear the awesome theme song for the Gatchaman series start playing.

A sad fact that, in my eyes, makes Ultimate All Stars an 8 or 9 instead of a perfect 10.
@Thomas_Joseph- Just so you know, the Classic Controller works fine with this game. The controls are much better than the controls in Marvel vs Capcom 2 for the 360 and PS3. I really don't recommend buying an arcade stick just for this game.
