Topic: Tales of Elastic Boy: Mission 1

I was just looking the game up a few days ago, too. Anyway, new piece of info has just come in. This game will be hitting WiiWare on August 30th. It looks like it has a lot of potential, IMO.

What's with all these rolling platformers showing up on Wiiware? This actually looks pretty nice, imo.

Mission 1? Grreeeeeeat. Another full price WiiWare game with 1/5th the levels.

Full price? It's only $6. And we have no idea how many missions are planned. For what it's worth, this sounds like it contains more content than Furry Legends.

$6? Ahhh. I thought it was $10. Much better deal then. Furry Legends should have done the same.

Agreed. Did you notice? 7 solo stages and 5 multiplayer modes. Sounds good to me!

So basically it's Stretchy Legends?

Hmm, 7 levels+multiplayer, and at 600 points? Sounds pretty good. Now I have to decide between this and And Yet it Moves....

Yes, the similarities are obvious, but you can't really blame the creators for having a similar "rolling ball" type of gameplay. These games probably took a year (at least) to make (unless they're crazy awesome like Gaijin games or something). But still, the developers probably had this idea rolling (HA) before any of them heard anything about Furry Legends.

The trailer makes it look like Furry Legends and World of Goo had a baby. $6 ain't a bad price though, looks worth it.
