Sigh...I'm not even comparing the EU WiiWare releases to the NA WiiWare releases anymore, but I really hope that we get something good along with this junk.

Oh dear. Please release something good on Friday as well pls ffs.

To be fair, Rubiks Galaxy Rush, TV Show King 2, Starship Patrol (dsiware) and Tomena Sanner have been pretty good. But look at what NA are getting!

I feel your pain and you have my sympathy. Crobie's review was spot on.

Ask Rich if any of the fixes that he mentioned will be fixed in this version. If they are it should bump up the score a bit.

Hmm, gearing up for yet another excellent EU update from NoE... (please prove me wrong!)
Tomena Sanner is dangerously addictive though.

Don't bet on it.

Mwah hah hah hah ... WiiWare ... more like WiiWon't. I doubt Stunt Cars will have changed significantly and simply re-affirms my realisation that the vast majority of the games on the service are truly mediocre.

I suggest you pray for something good on the Virtual Console or otherwise prepare to be disappointed.

No sign of castlevania at all on the horizon either.

I wonder if the game developer for Stunt Cars still has an account on Nintendo Life.

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

It could be that the game will improve, but we don't change scores or reviews after publication regardless of patching. If we're notified of a patch by the developer I could see doing a news item, but reviews are performed at a point in time. If a publisher/developer release a game that's broken, then really that's their problem and we'd suggest not releasing games with serious bugs or other issues if they want a better review.

@Sean: Err ... but isn't that mis-information? After all, if it's been fixed then new users will think you guys are a bunch of monkeys for going on about things that aren't there. The idea of updating in the news section is lame considering that's the last place I look when the keyword I'm thinking of is "review".

Just my two cents. A little effort goes a long way.

NintendoLife doesn't inform people of Family&Friends Party (got a 5/10 here) and Last Ninja 3 (got a 9/10 here) being damaged and unplayable.
In case 5 minutes of Family&Friends Party is worth 5/10 points, and one stage in Last Ninja 3 is worth 9/10 points, I did say nothing but I think a game must be tested, so that it's at least beatable.
I mean, how would you feel if you couldn't move on to stage 2 in Mario Galaxy? You would take the game back to the shop and get your money back. I don't like broken games. But that's another story.

Wooh, Sean I wasn't implying that YOU change your score. I was implying that the informed should consider the score bumped up a little. Or NintendoLife re-review the European version.

You all raise interesting points and I'm definitely inclined to agree.

The Last Ninja issue was probably overlooked if the reviewer resorted to using an emulator instead of actually reviewing the VC release. And it's not like SKTTR is the only one experiencing this game-breaking issue and it's simply unfair to people that purchase the game.

I didn't necessarily think that, but I did want to highlight it in case it's true. With regard to your issues SKTTR I'll check into those because that does seem to be a problem.

Well, folk can rejoice because we've revised the Last Ninja 3 review: http://vc.nintendolife.com/reviews/2008/12/last_ninja_3_virtu... though admittedly it's way overdue.

With regard to Family & Friends Party our reviewer simply didn't encounter the bugs being mentioned; I think you just got unlucky there SKTTR and I'd suggest contacting the developers with your issues.

He has, many times actually. Still hasn't been fixed. Poor guy.

And wow, talk about a big fix! From a high mark to a dead 1! Also, remove the comma from the above link if you click on it.

Yeah, and that's junk too...

Compare this to your upcoming update. (ShadowPlay, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Chronos Twins DX)
