Topic: Should I get Super Mario Galaxy 1 or 2?

I had SMG1 at one point and I have about 50 stars in it... Going by Amazon, I could get SMG1 for about 18 dollars and SMG2 for about 35. I feel like I would be getting more if I got SMG2 since I don't have any progress on it at all, but I figure if I get SMG2 first then I will never go back and beat the first one. Is there even enough new stuff in the second one to warrant buying it over the first one, since the first one is much cheaper?

I own both but haven't gotten around to playing 2 yet. However, judging from reviews there's plenty of new stuff in 2 to warrant its purchase.

I'd suggest reading a few reviews and judging from that how much it's worth it to you.

Of course, you could buy 1 now and wait for 2 to drop in price - I can't see it running out of stock anytime soon!

2 is definitely the better game in my opinion.
They took what made the first game good and expanded on it and improved it.
The first game is great and is worth playing through, but if you've only got the money and time for one of them then I'd recommend Galaxy 2.
