Topic: Should I buy Tetris Party?

I have some Wii Points to spend and right now I am at a deadlock whether or not to buy Tetris Party. I have Tetris DS and I am thinking Tetris Party will just be the same thing but, with online play. Please give me of your opinions of the game and tell me whether I should buy it or not.

Tetris DS has online play. I prefer the online play on the ds version.
Until about a month ago I was asking myself the same question. Especially as Tetris is better on a handheld.
I bought the wiiware version, IMO it's not as good as the ds version but it is well worth the points. Tetris is such a classic and it's a great wiiware game to put on for 5 minutes (then you realise an hour has gone by!)

Tetris Party is good for the Price you have lots of Modes 4 player mode Tetrimino Stages & Online is Great but if your a Novice & you play Online Well you'll be owned everytime there are real masters online i Think i could'nt win one match.. but anyway if you like Tetris DS give Party a Go its Fun

It's allright to buy this game but i liked tetris on the ds so much better, it just plays a lot better.

The additional modes trump online multiplayer for me. I don't know anything about the DS version, but if it lacks the picross mode then I'd say that makes the WiiWare version worth getting alone!

Tetris Party is soooo frickin' loaded with modes, that it is worthy of a purchase if it were retail on a disc. $15 is well worth it.

I have tetris party for wii and its so fun! I play against my friend, but he always wins cause im not really the best. It has some really fun modes like racing a tetris block through a maze as fast as you can, or even playing against the computer in battle. This game is awesome and it is one of my favorite wiiware games along the lines of pokemon scramble, my life as a darklord and king, and bomberman blast.

Although this is a great game, if you already have another version of Tetris then I would say no.

yes.....yes you should buy it! if you like Tetris in any way (despite the fact that you have the DS version...'cause Tetris almost didn't change since the gameboy version...it's all about the modes!) you really sould be downloading it now!

I own both the DS version and Tetris Party.
I prefer Tetris Party. More modes that are fun offline. I thought you were limited to only playing by yourself since other WiiWare games don't give you CPU AI to play against. I was happy to see that you can go into the multiplayer mode and play against 2-3 other CPU opponents in all of the MP Modes. Very Cool!

Tetris Party is by far my Favorite Version of Standard Tetris. It controls better than any of the XBox encarnations. It feels much like a "Nintendo" game.
