Topic: Samus Aran in Brawl

If your a player (myself included) who is not well at controlling zero suit samus, the game is basically punishing you for using her final smash in normal suit form. That doesn't make any sense.

Yeah before that was very annoying considering zero suit samus is hard to control.

Samus is nicely balanced in my opinion. But her Final Smash is teh ****z! You go from a death dealing, missile launching, power suited wonder woman into a woman who admittedly looks sexy in tight leather with a whip... but can't kill f*** all.

If her FS was the Power Bomb... every charcter on the battlefield is screeeeeeewwwwed!

Don't forget normal morph ball bombs, they're pretty usefull for extra jumps and for annoying people in general.

Samus not using her power bomb in Brawl. That doesn't sound like... oh, wait, that happening the same thing in Other M. Never mind.

Meh, never really bothered with Samus anyways, I'm pretty sure someone made good points anyway. So, whatever, lol.

Sit in as zero suit samus for a few games and morph your battle style. She's actually just as good or better than power suit samus but it takes some training.
Basic strategy:
-use base b attack or down smash + right smash or b right and you can knock almost anyone off the level.
-If someone is on a drop through platform above you, use b + ^ repeatedly to knock them into the air and bring them right back down.

• Use b down for when someone's charging you to jump over them and hit them in the back or instant wall jump repeatedly.
  Lastly use your right smash to hit the people in front of you for 18-38 and behind you for 6. It keeps people from trying to dodge past you and hit you in the back.

In the Subspace Emissary, Samus rescue pikachu from a container. Samus has a new baby and the events will lead up to Metroid: Other P.

Samus was my favorite in the N64 SSB, but I think she's been getting weaker over the games each time in comparison with other characters. Power suit Samus is just too floaty. If she fell faster, I agree she would be more useful, but as it is, people can get you once you've used all your jumps and are snowflaking your way to the ground.

And I agree with Token Girl, Samus is more powerful in SSB and Melee, but over time, yeah, she's got a lot weaker. I more or less have to always charge up my beam or use missiles constantly just to get any damage on my opponent. And hand to hand combat isn't the way Samus fights either...

I also agree that Samus is actually a little too floaty. I mean, she has a metal power suit on for God's sake, shouldn't she, I don't know, fall to the ground relatively quickly, rather than lingering in the sky?

I still think Ninty should have put in Dark Samus or a space pirate. ZSS is too light and fast imo.

Samus and ZSS, when played well, can be very powerful players.

You can say, oh they suck, but if people practice with them, then they could dominate you easy.

I'm great as Zero suit Samus. The down+B (or is it down+A?) jump kick is surprisingly powerful and hard to dodge for the enemy >:3

Why would I play as Samus in Brawl if I could have more fun playing as Samus in either Metroid Prime Trilogy or Other M.
I could say the same argument for all the other characters and that's what makes Brawl such a disappointment.

Yes, Brawl is a completely broken game. Why make a crossover when I can just play the respective games instead?

Samus is okay, but I can dominate almost anyone with meta knight! >:3

I used to be great with Jigglypuff in Smash Bros 64. I used to dominate matches with Link, so my friends made me choose Jigglypuff instead as a handicap. I eventually got good enough with him though that I was still winning almost as frequently.

That was the last Smash Bros. game I was any good at though.

I use Jigglypuff as my main character in Melee and Brawl. Hardest character in the game to use well, by far.
