This looks interesting. I wonder if it has a better D-pad, because what I really want is a Wiimote with a D-pad more like the DSi's than the clunky one on the standard Wiimote.
Out of curiousity, has anyone tried a third party Wiimote that does have a better D-pad than Nintendo's? I find the Wiimote always seems to register diagonals when I'm trying to hit in one of the 4 primary directions, and I also find it's stiff and it hurts my thumb after a while, so I really want to buy an alternate Wiimote if I can find a good one.
Compared with all the other third-party products I've seen, I actually think this looks pretty good. The grip on the nunchuk doesn't look great, but if it's easier to hold I won't complain.
Just to let people know, I picked up one of these sets cheap from an Amazon merchant. It feels phenomenal in your hands -- almost like there's nothing even there. It's great for motion-based games, especially games that can quickly tire you out with a lot of motion. I really don't like the D-pad though (feels just as clunky as the original), and my initial experience using it for Tetris and Bit.Trip Core is that Up often accidentally registers as Left, and Down as Right, and I seem to be getting far more direction errors than I get with the regular Wiimote D-pad. I wouldn't recommend buying this if you're planning on doing serious gaming with it as a control pad, but it's good for motion-based games or as a cheap extra Wiimote set for when guests come over.
