So I've renamed this so it would appeal to more people, but my entry is about Opoona: I've debated buying this game for a long time, but I finally got it, and I wasn't disappointed. It only got in the 6-7/10 range from a lot of reviewers, but I'm loving this game. Is there anyone else who played it, and what are your opinions on it? What is it about this game that made it fail to attract so many people? Sure, there are a lot of flaws, there's a lot of running around and for little reason, but that's inherent in most RPGs. I've played for 4 hours straight and loved every minute of it (even the 20 minutes I got lost trying to find my way back to the third floor)
Also wait for the Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings to come on sale. The game itself isnt' the greatest, but the Wii version comes with Fate of Atlantis as an unlockable, which is my favorite point-and-click of all time.
Geometry Wars: Galaxies, Heavenly Guardian, Ultimate Shooter Collection, Blast Works, No More Heroes, Boom Blox, de Blob, Ghost Squad, House of the Dead 2 & 3, and possibly Wario Land: Shake it.

You are asking for suggestions, right?
Well...opinions more than suggestions. I don't know how I managed it, but I got Wario Land: Shake it! new for just $20 at Blockbuster 6 months ago, and Super Mario Galaxy was only $25 new. Now I still have trouble finding either anywhere for under $30 used. I forgot House of the Dead and No More Heroes were around the $20 range. Those are amazing buys. Everyone should have No More Heroes. Unless your parents ever see you play video games.
Also you can get The Monkey King at Gamestop for 4.99. It's not the best game, but I personally love the art style, and the Wiimote tilt controls to speed/slow the levels. A fun shooter for that price, can't be passed up. The boxart was even mega-man'd compared to the Japanese version.

Really? I'll have to look into that. I still have 5-something left on my Edge card. I got Opoona for free because I had enough money on my card still to pay for it all. Hey, everyone, sell your wiimote covers to Gamestop! you get 3 bucks for every one!

3 bucks for a WiiMote seems a bit low. Like I was saying the Monkey King isn't an epic game, but it has co-op, and a decent single player game. For $5 I've bought way worse from the Virutal Console. You can tilt the Wiimote left/right to slow down or speed up the level. By default it's pretty easy, but I tilt forward a lot to add some difficulty blasting through. It's based on he books DragonBall is, with a Monkey-like fellow flying around on a cloud (nimbus).
No, and with that and a third-party wii controller I sold, it gave me enough dough to buy two "cheap gems", as I plan to buy The Monkey King tomorrow, after seeing some footage of it on YouTube.
I managed to score a new sealed copy of The Munchables on eBay for £7.50 incl. P+P -- seems a steal since the nearest online price was £14.99.
I'd love to have Ultimate Shooting Collection, but no PAL publisher sadly, so I'll have to import the original Japanese release -- not happening soon since it's still over £30, though!
