I downloaded it today and the game is fantastic! It is definitely one of the best games that I have played on WiiWare! I'm stuck on the third stage though. I have collected the third secret item but I can't get past this stupid wall that is too high to jump over. I used the fireballs to destroy two sections of the wall but you can't destroy any others to get past it. Maybe I missed something; I going to try it again. Anyone else stuck at this part?

I don't have it yet, so I can't help you. But this info is good to know.

You can't jump over that, you need to destroy the floor next to it

I just played through the first level and I must say this game has managed to exceed my very high expectations. Fantastic control, beautiful graphics and sound. Well worth the points.

Excellent game, glad I got it, but I'm not convinced it deserves as lofty a score as LostWinds. That title seems to be a bit higher quality all around, and given the similarity in the control scheme, it deserves the nod for being the pioneer.
I'm still early in the game, and liking it plenty - but it's maybe an 8 in my book so far.

Well I for one think it deserves a better score than Lost Winds. Sure LW started the whole "platformer with enviornment interaction" thing but NyxQuest really fleshes it out a lot more than LW ever did. I mean in LW you rarely had to use more than one of your powers at once to get past obstacles, but puzzles with that level of involvement occur in every level in NyxQuest.

Hopefully Lostwinds 2 will be better than the first and perfects the platforming action

I agree about the complexity of the puzzles - that part is a plus. But it's just the feeling of the game itself that, while indeed excellent, doesn't seem as polished as LostWinds. I'm all about the production values, myself. Accurate surround sound, environmental details, ambient noises and details, context-sensitive soundtrack, etc. were all superior in LostWinds in my opinion. I am by no means knocking NyxQuest. It's an excellent game! But with all the comparisons to LostWinds, I just wanted to share my take on it.
