Topic: NSMBW - Collected all star coins in world 7, but it hasnt unlocked in world 9.

I beat the game (up through world 8)
Now, I'm going through and collecting all the star coins. I've gotten up to World 7. I have all three coins from all the the levels but it hasn't unlocked the 7th level in world 9.
Can anyone give me some help as to what to do?

Are you sure you cleared ALL the levels? Try finding a secret exit in World 7. It should open up a new level (World 7-6). By the way, have you encountered a level with flying red-shelled creatures that you have to jump on (Not Koopa Paratroopas but Para-Beetles) that don't appear in any other level (This is World 7-6)?

I like it how NSMBW has it's own little Star Road (World 9), like you saw in Super Mario World. Just my two cents.

Kinda wish it was like Mario World and gave you an indication of which levels have secret exits :/

The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
