Sorry I didn't get to post this weekend; I was pretty busy. Anyway, I'll post the info here, and in the original post: DATE: Sunday, April 26 TIME: 2pm, Eastern WHAT IS IT: Mario Kart Tournament! Series of 3 GPs. (Please only sign up if you plan to race all 3!) SPECIAL RULES: None, this time. But try not to vote for courses we've already played. MY FRIEND CODE: 1590 5083 2099 Make sure you add MY FRIEND CODE, and leave yours on this thread as well. If there is a lot of interest, I'll host others in the future, with special rules or conditions to keep things lively. To play, just connect to the internet via Mario Kart Wii a few minutes before the start time. When you see that I am online with an available room, select my avatar and choose the option to JOIN ROOM. The race will begin about 5 minutes after the scheduled start time, in case anyone shows up late. ORIGINAL POST: Just wondering if there would be any interest among forum members to set up a Mario Kart Tournament. I used to run a few back when the game first came out, usually specifying certain conditions to keep the games interesting and get people out of their comfort zones. (Retro tracks only, race as your Mii, must be Koopa Troopa, or others...) Would anyone be up for something like this? It'd have to be on a weekend, but I'll be happy to set it up. EDIT: If you're interested, leave your friend code below! And make sure you add mine. It's: 1590 5083 2099 It might be too late to get people for this weekend, but maybe next?

If this goes well (ie: good turnout) I'll gladly host others, probably with special rules or themes for the fun of it.

PS, if anyone uses AIM, my screen name is "chickenbrutus." In case anyone's ever up for a random match or to coordinate for a tourney.

Bah. It really does seem like a bad time, doesn't it? It just so happens that the ONE TIME I know I'll be home this weekend is the ONE TIME nobody can make it.

Oh well. Maybe next weekend will be better. What's a time that the majority of you are actually available?

I will never make it sundays 11am - 3pm, eastern. Any time chosen other than that I´ll be there but every five week. I´m a shift worker.
