Nintendo’s Fluidity combines an amazing physics engine that realistically models flowing water with innovative puzzle game play. Using the three forms of water – liquid, ice and cloud – players will solve challenging puzzles across multiple chapters of an illustrated magical book called Aquaticus. The game offers detailed tutorials that introduce basic game mechanics, but the complexity quickly ramps up as special powers are acquired and enemies are introduced, testing players’ reflexes and ingenuity.
Thanks for the link. Looks like Locoroco with PixelJunk Shooter's water physics and an art style perhaps on par with both. I wonder who made it. It's not an Art Style game, so that means it's probably not the usual suspects.
That does remind me a lot of Loco Roco. I really wanted to like that game but it was far too repetitive and didn't control very well. Hopefully Fluidity manages to nail the tilt controls and introduces a bit more variety into the equation with the different water forms.
@soccer686 Actually, many parts will be a very solid experience. This game actually looks quite fun.... it's a gas! There aren't any videos with cloud gameplay yet, but it's supposed to be there.....
I've seen two mentions that it's being developed by Curve Studios.... who I think is best known for the buzz franchise... I don't think it's confirmed though.
