Topic: Need For Speed Nitro is it worth it?

I have heard some people say its okay and some people say its terrible. What does everyone here at NL have to say about the title? if its good i might buy it if not then i have preorders to start going for (Monster Hunter Tri & Tasunko vs Capcom.)

I'd say it's worth it. Good racing games on the WII can be tough to find and this fills in nicely.

For a Wii racer I would recommend it.

If you don't already own Excitebots: Trick Racing, Tails, I would recommend that also.

Good choice Tails, I got this when it came out and its a lot of fun, I still have it.
Much of the criticism on lesser forums than this one seemed to miss the point, its a arcade racer not a simulation.
If you like Outrun you'll like this. Can you believe that Excitebots never came out in the EU - sucks!

Yeah. But I got mine for 19.99 when Gamestop had that sale a while back. It is a lot of fun and the showroom customizing is fun. The painting the cars and seeing what you can come up with is a lot of fun but so is the main game.

If you're looking for a Wii racer that isnt Mario Kart or Exitebots, this is the best way to go. Plus, you can control it with one hand

Best Wii racer next to Mario Kart Wii, great sense of speed, oozes style, fun gameplay, great customisation and an awesome adrenaline pumping soundtrack. The only downside is there are only a few tracks available (there are only two per city and 1 drag race track) its a good job the tracks available are good ones (my fave is Singapore!). Anyways this title is definitely worth a purchase looking forward to a sequel!

So Far besides Mario Kart i agree that this is the best racing title on the wii. In my opinion the only thing that would really make people go nuts for it would be Wi-Fi that would seal the deal.

Looks like I'm gonna have to get this game. I like BOTH simulations and arcade racers. So this will be a purchase for me.
