I want to complete all the Metroid games 100% for the first time and I believe in MP3, there is a map in Elysia that shows where the suit upgrades are, correct? Does it show where the ship missle upgrades and energy cells are, too?

Yes, I think you have to haul a certain part with your ship to it, but it does show where all the pick-ups are...
Now I'm the mood to pass this game again. Perhaps once I'm finished with Super Paper Mario...

be warned that there are a few 'blind spots' that don't show up on the maps you get in elysia; the wrecked ship and the frozen dimension in bryyo. if you have every item listed on the maps but still don't have something, it'll be in one of those two places.
