Topic: More evidence of Cave Story coming soon!

As I was reading through the latest copy of Shonen Jump, i saw the Cave Story was listed in the "games we love" section. it wasnt the PC version either, because they listed it as a wiiware game. what do you think? was it an error or does it actually mean that cae story is FINALLY coming?

my definition of 'soon' is tomorrow, and after all the let downs i'm still expecting it to come this monday... i set my hope dominoes up and every time nintendo flicks them into a massive chain reaction of falling dreams. there is no other way to word that

I still think it's going to be a landmark game (like how Bit. Trip BEAT was the 100th game).

I imagine that's the reason, unless they're still touching the game up (which I doubt).

EDIT: We're 24 games away from #200.

At three games a week, that would be 8 weeks away. March 22nd. That actually sounds more like where Bit.Trip Runner would go, to be honest.

Mega Man 10 could go there too.

We'll review it when it's released, sadly we've got no further news when that is. There's definitely no review in the works now though, unfortunately.

Shonen Jump is pretty random with those reviews so I wouldn't get your hopes up to high.

I'll be disappointed if the wiiware version isn't as good as the PC version. It took five years for one man to make it, but with a whole bunch of developers working on this it should be very polished. I don't see how can they polish the game anymore than it already was, hell it was perfect just on the freeware version. Other than the visuals of course, I can wait to see what they did to it!!!
