The reviews of these two games are in the latest ONM which I got through the door today.
Monster Hunter Tri: Basically, it sets out what we already know from the previews and our knowledge of the Japanese game already out. It read like a real blockbuster and the on-line makes the game mind-bogglingly extensive. Its like the PC's World of Warcraft except this is a Monster Hunter sim/action-adventure of course. Summary: Incredibly detailed gameplay, vast sprawling hunts, unparalleled online gaming, all stops pulled out for the Wii. Only down point was fidgety fighting early on. 91% it scored. Not for me as you need a huge amount of time to get the most out of this, but its an epic for those who are interested as most of you lot are.
Sin and Punishment Successor of the Skies: Again, the review basically stated what we already knew about the game from the Japanese release. It has different control methods but of course the wiimote and nunchuck is by far the best. Its even wii zapper compatible. The bosses (and the gameplay action in general) sound mental and the game is, oc course in true Treasure style, very challengeing. For the ultimate ninjas among you there may be only 7 or 8 hours of gameplay. But you can replay levels in a high score capacity and there are on-line leaderboards. Summary: Some of the best action on Wii, great challenge, on-line leaderboards bringing longevity, looks increadible. Only downpoint is that its "not for everyone" obviously. It scored a 90%.
No More Heroes 2 scored an 87% and Red Steel 2 an 86%....both very close to Gold Award status.
Basically all these hardcore leaning games are very much a worth purchase and a successful produccion in ONM's eyes. I hope whoever buys these blighters enjoys them
To be honest I wasen't going to get Monster Hunter Tri... nor had I even heard of the series before but I think I'll give it a go if I have a bit of spare £... perhaps.
WRT S&P "2" being short. In the revw they didn't put this down as a negative point. They said the longevity is in the high scoring and on-line leaderboard. It can be played in "arcade fashion". Very 90s AND 2010 in its make-up as well!
None of these games are for me tbh, but its very, very interesting to read about them....and who knows, maybe one day
"They say video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock n' roll."

God loves you
I'm still on the fence about monster hunter TBH. Never played one and I'm afraid that I would not have the time to invest in it to really get the best out of the game. I really like the look of it though so I will definetly pick it up at some point, which could be 3 years down the line with my backlog of games. S&P2 I will get probably a couple of months after release for about £15, lets be honest its hardly gonna sell like hot cakes is it?,though it should !! I'll wait for the price to drop first, cheap b*******d that I am

Games published by Nintendo don't usually drop in price so quickly as third party releases.
Your right but I think that one will though. As with Excite truck,Wii music etc..... If it ain't heavily advertised or got Marios face on the box the majority of Wii games tend to get ignored by the masses or picked up months down the line regardless of quality. I'll still buy it whatever but its not a must buy straight away for me so I'll wait it out a bit.
