Turning and looking at the center is also impossible in Prime 3, which makes moving around harder.
I find movement to also be quite a bit easier with Wii controls, as you can easily aim and/or turn, strafe, and move forward all at once and very fluidly. You also have easy access to a jump button while doing all of that.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
It took me a while to get used to the controls as well (just like with any new controller). When my arm gets tired from pointing I will either pause the game (I think that re-centers the cursor) or hold the Z trigger to prevent the camera from spinning all over the place.
