Uhhhh.. yes it would have. Two weeks in a row without a VC Game? Gimme a break. A "token VC game" would've more than made up for the week before but this is just that much more disappointing.
So some rated 1 out of 10 VC game would have made a difference, I don't think so, its 2 weeks of no VC games and people act as if Nintendo has done them bodily harm, its pathetic its nothing to get hysterical over.
This has to be one of the most dissapointing and pathetic updates in a long time. How could there be two weeks in a row with no VC?? What have they just run out of games?? And the DSiWare...c'mon, that's usually the one I'm always looking forward to, but all we get is one game, let alone a 200 point one. I've never seen that before!! This is dumb. At least the DSiWare seems OK, but I haven't really been paying attention to WiiWare, and it's nothing I'm interested in, though.

Wait... a shoddy game? By "token" I thought you meant that it was an anticipated/key first-party game. But yeah, the VC is at a stand-still now meanwhile it's flourishing in Japan. VCA, C64 and N64 titles need to be supported desperately especially the former two. Clearly it's not a matter of them running out of games. Just look at other regions as well as the other first-party games they could be adding. Anyway, hopefully there will be some explanation for this, perhaps with the release of Super Mario Kart or SSB64 next week? I can't say for sure but almost anything would be good at this point.

It does make a difference. When they release a good/crappy game were one step closer to another good/crappy game :/

Yeah, that's one thing that I don't agree with. Why is everyone classifying this as a "terrible update" just because of the lack of a VC game and the lack of Kubos? Meh... To each one his own I suppose.

Brilliant, brilliant point. Some will never see it this way, though. Just like how WiiWare had a huge release last week, they have two more huge releases this week. Some people just don't get business works. Honestly, I'll only listen to a persons complaints about VC releases when that person has played all 300+ VC titles that have already been released. Until then, I see no reason to complain.
Well Wkipedia still says Kubos comes out today...is this true? If so that would make me feel alot better. And I don't think Wikipedia had a date set before. I looked at Wiki yesterday and it said TBA...what's going on?
I have to disagree with people saying that this update sucks. WiiWare had a superb update! Monkey Island and 3 Musketeers look great!
For you its good; it depends on peoples opinions which all are different. I do love wiiware but Im not the guy who likes buying "wiiware episodes". That card game sounds fun though.

Lets say Nintendo have three crap games to put out before Super Smash Bros. gets released.
Would you rather have three crap games this week and super smash bros. next week (even though we all know, under the current circumstances, America is lucky to get a single game each week) or in four weeks with one crap game a week every week for three weeks and then Super Smash Bros after those games have been released?
