This is exactly the kind of game, and use of technology, I've been praying for. The Collectable Card Game style arcade cabinets in Japan are awesome ways to play games, and being able to scan cards using the DS for use on the Wii, with online play, is basically the kind of Magic: The Gathering Wii-style play I've thought perfect for the consoles since launch.

I just hope Square Enix uses the release as an excuse to bring the card game out west and gives us this game.

That's fantastic. A CCG game with local and online play, using the DSi as a scanner... genius.

And yes, let's hope this doesn't end up like Sigma Harmonics and Blood of Bahamut which remain Japanese exclusives.
