Topic: Is wii update 4.2 Bricking True or Bogus?

I updated mine immediately (as I will do the next), it took a while but everything was cool.

I must admit, I am surprised we've seen no reports of brickage from Nintendo Life users. _honest

i don't fully believe it and so far out of gamespot fourms i haven't heard it happening and it didn't happen to me
and when i was looking at nintendo fourms around 90% of people saying it happened were new users with 3 or fewer posts all saying it happened

Mine Works fine but the ones who are breaking are the ones who modded there Wii so i heard.

That's what I think too.

I actually did not know anything about such problems until after I updated my Wii! I've tried playing a few different games on it and haven't had any problems so far.
