This is the problem I have with so many game developers; the "my way or the high way" rule, especially when it comes to control options. For instance, some Wii racing game developers think the Wii remote should be the only steering option because that's the way the developers prefer. I would have bought ExciteBots if not for this.
Well, it's because THEY'RE the developers. It is their vision, their planning, their work, so yes, it is THEIR way and the have ever right to that. Don't like it, become a developer yourself.
I'd be satisfied with full functionality of the original games. I'm looking at you MK ghost saves (how much work would it be to just integrate those into the save file? Fun fact: free emulators can do it.) and rumble.
