Topic: I hope DK64 comes to the Virtual Console...

I wish Donkey Kong 64 would come to the Virtual Console. It might come to the Virtual Console because all the Donkey Kong Country games are on the Virtual Console. I know DK64 uses an expansion Pack but so does The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask which is on the Virtual Console. So, please Nintendo, please make an agreement with Rare and put Donkey Kong 64 on the Virtual Console. (P.S. Besides, you don't have that many Nintendo 64 titles on the Virtual Console)

Donkey Kong 64 also has Jetpac, a Rare game. That would likely have to be removed or disabled.

I really want this! I don't want to pay loads for the expansion pak and the game! I will at some point and you can guarantee it'll come to VC the next day.

It would be nice to see it on the VC with hopefully a better framerate than on the N64. Nintendo has the rights to the characters so it's likely that they could work out a deal.

Meh, found it at a pawn shop the other day for $7.00. Just look around on the internet, because chances are it wont be coming anytime soon.

I seriously think (almost) everyone wants it.... I personally can't wait. Even though I have a working copy, I'd gladly pay 1,000 (or even 1,200) to have this on my Wii.

Same here. It was one of the better platformers on the N64. It would be nice to see it on virtual console.

Bass X0 has got a point. It can't come to virtual console unless some of the things from the game are removed (like the Rare coin).

Well, buy it, and put us out of our misery.
Nah, I don't mind, I have it on N64, I need to play it through again.

@V8 Ninja: I doubt Rare's logo on an item would be a problem (the logo's are all intact in the three DKC games). Jetpac could be a problem, but according to a Rare interview I read, it's all up to Nintendo whether or not this game gets released on VC.

I hope this game comes to vc too, It looks like a great nintendo64 platformer.
