I only picked this up for the multiplayer - Its a keeper for me for that reason as I belong to an over forties clan and we have a lot of fun with COD and the rest of the guys are beginning to go on-line with the Conduit. The matches so far have been tremendous fun and a change from the landscape of WW2 - Not tried out Wii Speak yet - I have it but no buddies have had it when I have been online.
Yeah, the fact that it's "first week" I think it has to be US only since it it was released here first and those figures came out after that week....unless I'm completely misremembering. It's been known to happen on semifrequent occaision.

An article I read figures the "Teen" rating in the States helped a lot. Over here it's PEGI 16+. I do see some of the same people in regional matches; I have to say it's a different experience from playing a game like Alien Crush Returns where I've never seen ANYONE online at all!
I'm glad the game is doing well, as I think they really earned it. @Sean, I'm with you on the ACR thing - I try on occasion only to wait the three loooong minutes and come up empty. Bah... We should try to connect one of these days.
No, but mine's in my sig. Shoot me yours and once the PM system is up and running we can organize a match without disturbing everyone.
Cool, I'll get those registered tonight as well as the Alien Crush code (mine for that is 1461-9791-3204). It has to be said that I find inter-continental match-ups to be quite problematic since my game time is usually between 21:00-23:00 GMT and therefore between 5 and 8 hours ahead of North America...
Well, they're making a profit -- assuming the US$5mil figure for dev costs is correct. Given the most effort goes into building the engine I expect the Grinder to have a far higher profit margin.
I really enjoy the game so I'm pleased to see it crack the six-figure mark!
