Topic: Giving my wii a second shot.

Nintendo have apologized for the second fault. First was software related causing artifacting. Second was hardware related so they are going to send me a BRAND NEW nintendo wii.

Was a bit bitter about the situation.

Im going to be making sure my wii is in an area with plenty ventilation and having wii connect 24 turned off as usual.

Ghost squad looked insane on my machine, Not artifacting but corrupt rendering of the whole game engine. Same applied to resident evil darkside, flickering and stuff.

I tested my disks on another machine to recreate the fault and confirmed it was just my machine.

Now I can get back into fragile dreams and play modern warfare (which i prefer on wii).

Shikigami 3 (eur) hasnt come out yet but will in the end.

I have had WiiConnect24 on for the entire time ive had my Wii (since launch) and have only had a problem recently with the DVD drive. Do you get a black Wii?

Just a white one which im ok with. Its only the base unit as well that I get back as I didnt need to send the acessories.

Some are lucky and some arent when it comes to graphics issue.

I abondoned the Wii myself, second Christmas season rush and no available Wii anywhere and eBay got me $700 for my Wii. There wasn't any flipping games releasing at all. Years have passed now though and my Black Wii arrived yesterday and amount of games to get now has made my second purchase well worth it. Nights, muramasa, monster hunter tri, silent hill, rebirth series, and so many more.

i was wondering how easy is the process of sending the console to nintendo to be repaired do they send you a box or do you have to get one yourself. mine fell while while trip over the gc bongo controller, luckily it landed on a beenbag that i had over my air vent, and now it makes clanking noises when reading data heavy discs like smash bros. or during cutsceenes like in no more heroes (which is pretty anoying because i can't here what there saying)

Wow, they held back that title in Europe for quite a while. We got it here North America on May of 09, terrific collection of games too.

You need to get your own box, but they will email you a pre-paid postal label you can print-out and stick/tape on the box (at least this is true in the UK) - important to note that you only need to send the console, so the box doesn't need to be that big.

Europeans dont play good games like this. They play Fifa, Halo, COD, Rabbids games and dont appreciate proper games. Just look at the charts to see the garbage they buy. No wonder nintendo doesnt care about 60hz VC for them. Im in a minority but a true imported for 18 years.

Thankfully we are getting it and I hope we share the same scoreboard with you guys. Im playing ESPGALUDA2 and FUTARI black label while waiting.
