Bloody Wolf arcade is listed under the coming soon list and announced by G-mode. I did not find announcment on their website but if this is true could Data East arcade classics hit the VCA as well as a Wii compliation disc? Could we be close to seeing Magical Drop, Bump and Jump, Burger Time, and Bad Dudes for the Virtual Console?
That sounds great! Data East had some pretty good games. Burgertime and Kid Niki would be great releases. As for Bloody Wolf though, great that we can get it for 100 points cheaper.
I'm still trying to find where the announcement is posted. I hope they do support VCA. Maybe they will start with games not on the compliation disc. Still its good to have another developer on board. Not to mention they could put out some of Data East's NES titles
Tony I was literally just about to make a post asking where the official announcement was for Bloody Wolf arcade. I haven't been able to find it anywhere online. I would certainly love to see some Data East games on the VC, especially Joe and Mac 1 and 2.
I hope its true G-mode would have some great titles to add to the VCA. Perhaps Nintendo Life has some connections with someone at G-mode who announced the game.
I found the link to the G-mode announcement for Bloody Wolf Arcade. Move the cursor onto the Bloody Wolf picture and the VCA logo shows up http://dataeastgames.com/
That's cool. If they use VCA to gap fill then that's fine; I'm still getting the compilation when it gets released in North America (and I hope to review it for the site as well) because frankly buying all of the game on the VCA is bloody expensive!
Yeah maybe. I will definately buy Bloody Wolf arcade in hopes it will convince G-Mode to release even more Data East games.
Yeah I am going to download Bloody Wolf in support that G-mode will release more games. And I am considering the Data East Collection as well. Mercs is one of my favorite arcade titles, so I'm sure I would enjoy Bloody Wolf.
