I had to get some VC games, so I got Paper Mario and Star Fox 64. I already had TYD, SPM, and Star Fox Assault, and wanted to see the N64 games. I've loved them ever since (although SF64 could use some saving).

Mario Kart 64, Pokemon Snap, and all the channels (internet & everybody votes at the time).

The first "one" I downloaded was Super Mario Bros. 1-3
You have to start with the originals. I think, with my remaining 500, I got the Internet Channel

Alien Crush and Devil's Crush - my original concept was that my Wii would just be a virtual pinball machine. That lasted for about five minutes!

I started with 6000 points so I got:

Wiiware:
Tetris Party
Dr. Mario Online Rx

Virtual Console:
Super Mario 2
Super Dodgeball
Puyo Puyo 2

I waited to get more because I didn't have a Classic Controller yet.

Super Mario World and Ocarina of Time. It was a great moment.

Super Mario 1-3, Zelda 1 and 2, Star Fox, and Super Mario 64.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.

Two games that I had never played before and was absolutely desperate to play. Super Metroid and Streets of Rage 3.

My first VC games were TMNT, Kid Icarus, & Ristar. My first WiiWare games were Lost Winds, and I think Tetris Party. Idk, this was forever ago though...

FF: CC: My Life as a King.... I think... not sure.

I don't really use the VC that much, generally just to play games I missed out on.

Noire

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I waited for it to come out before I even got into the VC. 61 games later, and Ocarina has gained another special place in my heart. :3

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Chrono_Cross

Kirby 64 (I simply love this game back on my friends N64.)
Defend Your Castle (This game just looked cool, lol.)
Super Mario Bros. ('nuff said.)

Just for you.

OldBoy

Starfox 64,Sonic 2 and Streets of Rage 2. That day was awesome

What's this bit for again?

StarBoy91

The first VC title I got was Bonk's Adventure. A good start.
Then I downloaded Bomberman '93 a week later, then eventually Space Harrier II, then Streets of Rage, then F-Zero. These were the first five games I downloaded on the VC.
I never downloaded two titles in the same day.

To each their own
