Everyone loves certain game developers and companys. But what's everyones favorite that topples all others in your opinion? I have to say Capcom cause to me it seems they like the Wii a little more then the other HD Consoles. (Of course thats imo.)

Nintendo. I grew up with Nintendo. I'd have to say my other favorite developers would be Factor 5 (awesome Star Wars games, and yes, I did like Lair), Free Radical (Too bad it dissolved, though I know that the people there work with Crytek now, I think?), and Square Enix (I love their RPGs).

I personally love Next Level Games for not screwing up Punch-Out!! Wii, and instead expanding upon the original, and I wholeheartedly believe they could make an awesome and original sequel. (Seriously, ya gotta hand it to them for the fantastic personality the imbued into the game.)
Nintendo: Because I grew up with them and even though they don't listen to fans, they make amazing games. Capcom: They actually DO listen to the fans and make amazing games. Treyarch: Even though IW makes more amazing stuff (MW2) Treyarch brings their awesome games to the Wii. I love them for that. High Voltage Software: While a lot of their stuff may be crap (licensed crap), they are trying to make true core games on the Wii. I particularly liked The Conduit and cannot wait for The Grinder. Nicalis: Even thoug they are pretty incompetant when it comes to responding to fans and announcing things, they are still porting two of the greatest games ever made to WiiWare and maing two other awesome ones. Kojima: Metal Gear Solid. 'Nuff said. Retro Studios: Metroid Prime. 'Nuff said.

Nintendo and Hudson Soft Both companies just deliver quality game after quality game.
While I have never gotten into the Adventure Island series, Hudson Soft has made some of my favorites: Faxanadu, Neutopia, Bomberman, Excitebike
And then there are so many of their games/series that are great but I haven't really played: Adventure Island, Bonk, Star Soldier, DoReMi Fantasy, Ice Climber, Mario Party, Water Warfare, ...
Also much <3 to Nihom Falcom for Ys Book I & II (and for Dragon Slayer II: Xanadu, off of which Faxanadu is based), and to Capcom for giving us Mega Man 9.
Valve: Understands how important PC gaming still is and they haven't sold out due to pressure from their publishers... unlike certain other studios... They also support their games' communities and give fans much more content free of charge. Loyalty to fans instead of corporations.
Capcom: Listens to fans. Develops new IPs along with their popular franchises unlike many other large studios who just rely on the same rehashes (many studios are somewhat guilty of that but at least some games in milked franchises are still good). Hasn't forgotten about past gaming generations.
Camelot: Golden Sun, 'nuff said.
Platinum Games: Wish Clover studio was still around but they are the next best thing.
ATLUS: Simply for not being or trying to be Square-Enix. They also make great RPGs.
Nintendo: Grew up with it. SEGA: Read comment one. Capcom: Lost Planet and their arcade games. Namco: Tons of excellent arcade games. Midway/Williams/Atari Games: See Namco

It's OK to have an opinion. This ain't the Soviet Union you know. Letterboxd Youtube Channel
BioWare made KOTOR, my favorite game ever. SEGA made Sonic 2, the best platformer in the history of forever. Nintendo made Zelda, Metroid, StarFox, Mario, F-Zero, and many other awesome franchises. Infinity Ward, I hate to say it, but Call of Duty IS the best shooter franchise. And a darn good one.
Bioware- has a good focus on story with table top RPG mechanics. also MASS EFFCT Square-Enix (quit referring to them separately) - The final Fantasy Series,Crystal Chronicles series, chrono trigger. Mistwalker- Creating two of the best RPGs this GEN Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey High Voltage Software - They make great games (The conduit, Hunter the reckoning) Nintendo- The best i ever had. (cookie to anyone who knows were that line came from)
WAT!

Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
Rare: Donkey kong Country 2 & Conker's Bad Fur Day in particular. Camelot: Mario Tennis Intelligent Sytems: Advance Wars & Paper Mario in particular Sega (particular part of Sega whose name I forget): Crazy Taxi Shiny Entertainment: Earthworm Jim Whoopee Camp: Tomba! Imagineer: Fighter's Destiny Hal: Kirby's Dreamland 2 & Super Smash Bros. in particular Lionhead: Fable Nintendo: introduced me to gaming & held me captive.
Capcom (development team not recent publishing) - Best remembered arcades for me. Street fighter, final fight etc SNK - Consistently good developer who pushed hardware further than I believed possible. Long life span. Konami - Always have been a good team. Very reliable unit and a certain quality is expected. Sega - Another arcade heavyweight. VF series, Outrun. Treasure - Originality and hardcore fan service. Nintendo - Nuff said. Cave - Manic games that I love Climax (old school) - For landstalker, one of my favourite loved games. Team Valve - For Half Life 1 and 2 series. BIG SHOUT OUT TO M2. Conversionists, who have done all of the konami rebirth games and also the recent cave shooter on 360
