Topic: Excitebots Opinions

I need opinions of Excitebots before I buy it (it's $20 at Gamestop till the second). What are ups/downs, do you recommend, etc. I read the review, but I trust fans opinions more. Thanks.

I think it is awesome. At $20, you can't go wrong. I paid $40 and I love it.

It's basically Excite Truck with robot animals instead of trucks, SUVs, and cars, with some items here and there, as well as Wi-Fi. If this doesn't make it sound awesome I don't know what will.

And, just so ya know, I got it as a birthday present.

@Jonno: I didn't like ExciteTruck, the motion controls felt too loose. are they better in this one?

I demo'd it in a store, liked it, bought it, got it home, played through it a few times and have since forgotten about it. I do this from time to time and then get back into the game in a big way, but ... something is missing for me. It doesn't feel like a race.

20 bucks already? Crap I might have to get it for the nephew. Not overly interested myself.

How's the WiFi support -- do people still play? I hold out hope of NoE having sense and bringing this over (I was fully budgeted for it for this fall; now I'm gutted!). I heard that NoJ is going to localise it, so I suppose I could go that route, but I suspect online lag will make it unplayable on Japanese servers since I'm based on the other side of the planet.

I don't think I'm ever gonna get to play this game.

This game puts me off big time....the tricks and what not.
I wish it was Excite-Trucks2.

i wish i would have a chance to give you an opinion on excitebots for 20 bugs (hurr! hurr!)...but in europe nintendo plays you....

I'm having second thoughts. The more I see it, the less it looks like I'll like it. I don't like racing games aside from Mario kart, and I hate Wii Wheel style motion controls. Looks like I'm saving my $20 bucks unless someone here can convince otherwise
