I just got Epic Mickey but it's not starting up. I've already tried blowing into my Wii and warming it up by the fire, but Epic Mickey still isn't working! Please help?

Well theres your problem your not suppose to put the discs near a heat source. Does your Wii have any problems with other games? If its just Epic Mickey having the problem than you just might want to take it back to where you got it from and exchange it for another copy.

Have you tried setting it on fire?

What's this bit for again?

Method A) I'm not sure how experienced you are with the Wii but you'd be surprised how many people actually put the disks in the slot the wrong way. If your Wii is standing upright, you'll want to make sure the blank side of the disk (not the one with the Epic Mickey logo) faces towards the SD card slot.

Method B) Do any of your friends have a Wii? Try your disk in their console and see if it boots up correctly. If it does load correctly, go home and insert a different disk into your Wii. If a non-Epic Mickey game doesn't boot up, it's your disk drive that's acting up.

Method C) Test to see if any other disk-based games are read correctly by your Wii. If they're usable, try to see if you can get an exchange on the disk. It depends on when you purchased the disk (obviously) and whether you still have the receipt, but something might be workable.

Usually I find out that if you just want to exchange it for the exact copy most places are cool without a receipt. Besides if that doesnt work you can just tell the person that it was a Christmas gift that you got from someone and they didnt give you the receipt.

warming your wii up by the fire? lol consoles aren't like cars, you can overheat the processor/video card. If anything you would want them cooler.

A) I always put my games in the right way!
B) and C) I don't know where any of my friends' houses are and only one of them has a Wii, but I have tested New Super Mario Bros. Wii and it is starting up, but it's crashing in the middle of the game. Epic Mickey's not starting up at all!

If it is the disk drive acting up, I'll be getting one of those Wii Cleaning Kits that cleans the disk drive
