Topic: E3 2010 Predictions

With E3 coming up in about 1 month from now, I'm just left wondering what Nintendo could possibly announce. They have a new mario, zelda, and metroid already coming out, so what can they do to top that? If i could take a guess, I would say they announce Kirby Wii and Pikmin 3, Professor Layton 3, MAYBE a new final fantasy for DS, and some more DSi and Wiiware games, most likey witha release date for Shantae: Risky's Revenge. So what do you think they will announce?

I'm not sure what they WILL announce other then Zelda and 3DS, but they SHOULD announce Star Fox Wii and a scrapping of the Wii Shop and Nintendo Channels in favor for a more united and easier to use system. Oh yeah, a new IP would be cool too.

I think Professor Layton 3 is a safe bet. I hope Nintendo has at least two surprises!

Star Fox Wii or Kid Icarus Wii. If neither is announced, fail on Nintendo's part. I'm expecting the fail to be honest.

Kid Icarus Wii is my best guess! I will be all over it if it actually ever happens, until then Ill still be playing my GBA cart to no end lol.

I heard it's a 2 hour presentation so i really expect BIG titles / apps / surprises, off all things i could imagined would be:

1. A New Starfox game for Wii.
2. Pokemon Trading Card for DS.
3. Super Smash Bros DS.
4. Kirby 3D Platform Game for Wii. (Using Super Mario Galaxy's Engine)
5. Pikmin 3. (I won't believe it till i see a trailer)
6. More WiiWare games.
7. More Wii Channels.
8. Wii 120 Gig Harddrive.
9. A sleek looking Nintendo 3DS Hardware Design ( I don't ever want to see an Ugly DS again)
10. More 2D inspired games like New Super Mario Bros Wii, Metroid Other M, Mega Man 10 and Castlevania The Adventure Rebirth On the Wii/ WiiWare.

1. Would be nice, but unlikely. Also, would like it to be something other than a lame Zelda ripoff or a weak attempt to recapture the N64 game's glory.

2. I'd like that, since I don't have people to play the real game with (don't own any of the actual cards).

3. A port or remake of the N64 game would be tops.

4. Unlikely, but let's hope.

5. I can't say much as I never played Pikmin...

6. Most likely.

7. ...Does anyone care about those channels?

Dnt have time but heres sum quik predictions:

1. A NEW IP for the 3DS. Sorta like how Nintendogs took full advantage of the DS(dual screens, mic, touch interface), Nintendo will announce a game that will do the same and watch the sales/market share of the new handheld RocketLaunch.

2. A new Wii system update available, with new channels.

3. A new game in development that probably wont release until 2011, it will shock the audience.

4. Something completely out of left field like a new Wii Remote or even the next Wii iteration.

Hopefully more WiiMotionPlus games. Mario(&Sonic) Sports WiiMotionPlus games?

I just want it to be a fun presentation, IMO, there hasn't been a fun presentation since the '06 E3 Nintendo conference. They not only need to show off Zelda Wii through an EPIC trailer, but have a playable demo demonstrated on stage and on the show floor.

Nintendo has the chance to blow everybody's socks off at E3 with Zelda, 3DS, Metroid and possibly a super secret game that no one knew was coming, like . . . Yoshi's Island Wii ha, or a return to the Donkey Kong Country series, either of those two would have me going wild.
