So I saw this title on the shelves last week, anybody actually played and/or bought the game? And if so, is it any good?

With kind regards,

O.K. nobody interested? Never mind, bought the game today, and I must say; It's Driver as it used to be : Full driving action without on-foot action. Game takes place in San Francisco (duh!!!) before the events of the first Driver game (released during the early Summer of 1999, If I remember correctly). The series main protagonist Tanner is also the protagonist in this title. His partner got killed as seen in a comic book-style opening sequence. As for the gameplay...the controls are well done. There are new features in the game, like two-wheel driving and the usage of the Wiimote to ram vehicles. The A.I. is, like the first Driver game FURIOUS, so it may get difficult at times. There's also an achievement system, a co-op mode, a cops & robbers mode and an ability to play the story modes with two players. In the Story Mode the second player can use the second Wiimote as a firearm. All-in-all, a very satisfying game if you (like me) thoroughly enjoyed the first, and most well-respected Driver game.

Wii has 3rd party games?

seriously though, glad to see they've avoided being generic GTA ripoff 7 again.

LOL. Totally agree. It was one of the main reasons why I disliked Parallel Lines...WITH A VENGEANCE. The Driving aspect that was once it's strongest point was left at the door, in that horrible game. (imo)
