Topic: de Blob 2?

I still haven't gotten around to getting this game yet (I will though, loved the first) but it's weird that Nlife or other sites like Dtoid haven't reviewed it. What are people thoughts on it for those that have played it?

I loved the first de Blob and I've been looking all over for de Blob 2 on the Wii. I've only found the DS version so far, but I don't want that. If I manage to pick it up I'll let you know my first impressions.

I saw it in the shops and wanted to get it but my Wii can't play it cause of Region Lock

I bought it when it first came out, and I'm just about finished. I love it!! It's very similar to the original, but at least this time you have a jump button (A) and several save points throughout the levels. I love the side-scrolling sections as well, they really help to keep things interesting, and require a bit more problem solving skill. Also, the humor in this one is just as good, the cut-scenes are hilarious. There's also a news-ticker type thing at the bottom of the screen while you're playing, and there's some funny comments that scroll across there.
I'm pretty sure there's more levels in this game (can't quite remember how many were in the original). There's more unique challenges than just painting buildings a certain color, killing inkies, etc. You are still timed, but once you complete the main objective, you have free time before exiting the level to finish all the extra challenges and paint everything.
I find the difficulty level pretty much the same as the original... not really that hard. Fairly easy-going game. Maybe slightly more challenging, but it's got a good learning curve.
Graphics are beautiful, although I'm playing it on the wii and heard they look better on an HD console. The music is just as good, actually, better than the original, but still in the same style.
My personal opinion is that this game is a solid 8/10. If you liked the original, you'll REALLY like this one.

I bought it at a launch and have pretty much completed it. I loved it. Improves on the first in every way, especially the controls. Very good gaming experience.
