Topic: Bomberman Blast

Is Bomberman Blast worth getting nowadays? I'm a big fan of Bomberman but if its online play is dead then I'd have second thoughts. Does anyone still play this and is online still alive and kicking? If not, are there any other more recent Bomberman games you'd recommend? Thanks.

EDIT: Apparently a new Bomberman is coming to all consoles, so this one will be obsolete soon. Ah well.

I really enjoy this game, but I am playing offline with my niece all most of the time, since I just haven't added any friends yet.
I would if I had some friend codes.
also, think about this: is is only 8 bucks. and for that has a decent mode and map variety, online play, mii support and what have you.
still, as pointed out abovem, I don't how strong online is doing.

I don't even play this anymore, to be honest but that's just me. There's probably a few odd people online, though. But I do recommend Bomberman Blitz more.

Plus, as you said in your edit, Battlefest is on its way so its best to wait for that instead if you wanted a WiiWare version.

Whenever I've played I didn't have trouble finding people to play with. However, the bomberman games seem to be much more fun with actual people in the same house. Online I just end up losing interest. Doesn't help that I'm not that great at bomberman.

Honestly can't stand Blast, online was more laggy than Brawl, and the whole game just felt unpolished, like it was rushed, also like single player bomberman myself, especially for boss battles, but Blast is strictly multi player, and since multi player in blast is so broken online, I wouldn't recommend it, can't say I have much hope for the sequel, but I'd wait and see how that turns out.

Alright, thanks for the opinions. I'll wait for Battlefest - which by the way is going to be a WiiWare game, along with XBLA and PSN.

Yeah I'm going to wait for Battlefest too, but it hasn't gotten any updates since November last year.
