So I finally just noticed the fact that I can update Bit.Trip Beat. Sorry, wasn't here when that happened. Anyway, I was about to update but it's telling me I have to delete my current save file of it to update. Will I lose all my progress? I certainly would hope that's not the case.

Even if you did lose your progress...there's only 3 levels, and by the time you finish one, you're probably already pretty good at it. You could get back to where you were in a single sitting with relative easy. Don't worry about it.

SERIOUSLY upset right now. The Shop Channel told me to delete the DATA to download the update, which I assummed meant the save data. But it didn't. It meant the channel. So I lost my save data.
Oh well, I had only made it to level 2 anyway......

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

OK I re-beat level 1 on my first try so I don't feel as bad anymore. Now if I could just get past that ONE annoying part on level 2 maybe I could beat that one too........

But I still think Nintendo should have made it so that you don't have to delete your data to get an update.......

The game was saved to the SD card but my save data was on the Wii itself. It seems like I was supposed to delete the channel off of the SD card (since it worked after I did that) but I first tried deleting the save data.

And yeah, Transition's easy. I was just all frustrated at the time. I'm back to where I was.
Which is still stuck on level 2....
