Everyone told me that Dragon Quest rocks. Well, I didn't like it, I just don't know what's so good about the series.

Everyone told me that Dragon Quest rocks. Well, I didn't like it, I just don't know what's so good about the series.
Oh yeah, I forgot about those. I could never get into Dragon Quest. I kinda liked the fourth game, since I really liked the story and characters, but the battles are so boring in every Dragon Quest game. I don't know what it is about 'em either that I don't like. I just find them incredibly tedious.
The remake of the first one was pretty good, too, but other than that, I only like the spin-offs in that series.
Wow I am really surprised at some of the games that most people don't like alot of them that they said broke my heart But oh well I guess its just a matter of opinion and how they experience the games.

@starkiller Thats what I thought! It was great, until I beat every level. I have tons of random complaints about it, like the pointless red switch in world 3 that got me soo excited but was used in only 2 levels??? It should have been more like super mario world, secrets galore like the level design was amazing, but without friends, it looses its replayability
Super Smash Bros Brawl. Everyone told me this game was awesome and I just can't get into it. I respect that people like it but I really don't see the appeal.
If I can't get that slash move down, I'm going to have to put Okami on this list as well.

Thanks for posting this as it helped me remember some I don't like. Pokemon games (except Explorers of Darkness because I love dungeon crawlers/roguelikes) Also the Contra series I need to add to my list. Just could never get into it.
Glad to see others posting Smash Bros. I felt I was the only one in the world who didn't like the series. It just seemed to be a button mashers dream, even though I know there's more to it than that. I guess the fact that I suck at fighting games (Except Marvel vs. Capcom 1&2) clouds my judgement on it.
I'm also glad that this thread has been as respectful to others opinions as it has. Usually if someone says something like "I don't like Metroid Prime" (since I did say that) you'll get pages full of "Yoor stoopid!" or "because you suck!" and everyone's favorite "because your not hardcore enough to play it". Just goes to show why these are some of the best video game forums and posters on the net.

Why would I have 45 wii games then? Most of these are considered major games on the wii by THIS site and other reputeable ones. Indeed many of them are considered all time greats by THIS site as well as many reputeable ones.
