Best 2-d platformers for wii - Wii, WiiWare & Virtual Console Forum

I have recently discoevered my love for 2-d platformers. :P I've played some good ones, like Wario Land: Shake It and Pulseman (from the vc, I know). Are there any other good or great platformers I should know about? Nyxquest is already on my list, the same for gunstar heroes (I know it's a run 'n' gun, but it still counts as a platformer) Oh, and Boy and His Blob is on the top of my birthday list. It looks like it could be the best 2-d platformer on wii!

DoReMi Fantasy is a very good platforming game. I didn't like it as much as the Donkey Kong Country series but that is probably because I think that that series is the best platforming series ever. Nyxquest is very innovative and fun also. It can be a little repetitive after a while because the levels have a lot of the same stuff in them but it is still one of the best games on WiiWare in my opinion. Overall though, I think that by far Wario Land Shake It is the best platformer on Wii. I also really liked Super Paper Mario and of course Super Mario Galaxy.

Well, I didn't get sonic, but kirby's adventure I guess that whole discussion was kinda pointless, huh?
