I could try out the PS3 demo....But I'm afraid that the gorgeous HD visuals and true Widescreen will make me feel a bit butt hurt when actually going back and playing the Wii version. Too bad PS3 games lag on my HDTV, where as wii games work pretty damn great on the other hand. Wii version it tis'

How's $19.99 for ya?

My oh my how quickly the price of the game dropped! Even the PS3 versoin is $19.99. If I was to get this I would go with PS3 for HD and widescreen.

This game is a blast and it's tied with Donkey Kong Country Returns as my favorite platformer of all time. The multiplayer is the best in any 2D platformer in my opinion, plus the treasure chest chase levels are fantastic and have some of the best level design i've ever seen.

Playing single player Rayman Origins was much more enjoyable for me than multiplayer. Unlike New Super Mario Bros. Wii, it's hard to see who's who or what's going on in Rayman Origins since it zooms out so much. The levels don't feel like they were designed with multiplayer in mind either. In NSMBW, when playing through it alone you are constantly coming across areas where you wish you had another person there to help you up somewhere--things like that. In Rayman Origins your pals are just in the way more than anything.

The Wii version is better because you can play with the nunchuk and not get cramped up. It's the perfect control system.

Not only does the 3DS come with an SD card, but it also happens to come pre-installed with one, additional dimension.

Unfortunately due to my wife and I moving overseas, I haven't had enough spare cash to pick this up. As soon as I have the money I'll grab it though!

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

I found that because you are all on the same plane and constantly bump in to each other in NSMB Wii, i got constantly frustrated by being bumped into pits and having no room to share small platforms. I found it a much better experience alone in my opinion. While it was nice to team up with one buddy and cooperate to get star coins, I thought that having your attacks be the only way you interact with each other was better in rayman. Overall I just seemed to have more fun in single player in NSMB and more fun in multiplayer in rayman. Sorry for the long post, just my opinions.

For all the people holding out for the 3ds version, I would highly recommend checking the wii version since the 3ds version won't be out untill march. Besides, the game is so darn good it is totally worth getting both.

Yes, this game is fantastic. The fast flow of the levels make it everything Sonic wants to be.

It does move fast at times but it's very different from Sonic Colors. The Sonic games have alternate paths that all lead to the level's end, but Rayman has one set path. In Rayman Origins there isn't much to explore, but it was fantastic in it's own way.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, but I've only just started playing in the last day or so. I'm three stages into world 2, and I've been having a blast.

Although from what I've played (and granted, I haven't done any multiplayer yet), it feels a lot more like Donkey Kong Country Returns than New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

I don't know about you all, but i'm curious to see how this turns out on the 3ds when it's released. No multiplayer is a disappointment, but the 3d effect will be really neat with the art style and it gives me a chance to play the game more.

Absolutely loved 100%'ing this game, I was a big fan of the original Rayman for PSX and they made it ten times better. I can't see myself getting it again for 3DS since I've done everything already, but it would be nice to see the amazing artwork brought to life even further in 3D.

I'm playing it on 3DS, and I am lucky because I haven't played it on on any other system, so I am amazed by the graphics. It's incredibly fun, even without any multiplayer. I love the music, the art, the controls, the pig-latin, everything! I'm 62% complete right now.

I got the orginial for Playstation years ago after playing at a friend's house. It was so difficult, I don't know how any 10 year old kid (age of my friend when he beat it the first time) could play through that game. This game blew my mind and got me excited about the series again. I love the grafics, the multiplayer, and the insane but playable environments! The music is so catchy and enjoyable. I definity recommend this game if you like puzzles, action, and a lot of movement.

How hard is Rayman Origins? I've only ever played the original on PS1, and that game was very hard. I never did beat it...

Eh, I don't really like the controls in this. Legends seems much smoother especially when going back in forth between the two. It's a good game, though.

I'm still not sure wether I want to buy this for the Wii or the 3DS. The 3D and portability are big additions for me, but the Wii version seems better every other way.
