I actually would rather it be more expensive in the beginning if that means it has the hardware to compete longer. I am almost looking at $400, but I don't want them to get too ridiculously high priced or they will end up like the PS3.
I don't think $250 is gonna happen. I think $349.99 as mentioned earlier (or perhaps in another thread) is more likely. It seems reasonable when you think about everything going into the system and the fact that there is almost no way the PS4 or 720 could match that and be DRASTICALLY better than the PS3 and 360 and Wii U at the same time without selling at a loss.
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
I also believe a 350 price point... I remember when I bought the wii for 250 but ended spending about 400+ becuase of all the accessories I had to buy and Wii sports I believe as well...
So, In reality, If you bought a Wii near or at launch you spent at around 300 to 400 for everything...
