Topic: Wii U Internet Browser Needs A Patch!

For the past few days the Wii U internet browser has been very wonky. First of all almost every page ends up glitching and having to reload because apparently most pages are too large for the Wii U browser to load 100%. Another issue is that many other pages simply won't load no matter how many times I try. Yes I've deleted the cookies and passwords/usernames and it didn't help at all! My internet isn't the issue because the eshop, online Wii U games, and everything online related on my PC is running lightning fast. Is anyone else experiencing these serious issues with their Wii U browser? I'd like to know!

Are you using port forwarding or DMZ?

My WiiU browser is running fine. I have it running through standard WiFi.
@Neko_Rukiafan try switching the user agent on the start page, that might work.

I tried that already and I'm using standard WiFi as well, though a neighbor has been using his CB radio alot lately so maybe that's affecting my Wii U somehow? But then again the only issue I'm having is with the internet browser so I don't know if that could affect only certain online apps while others work fine?

I have the same issues, and despite @SCAR392 helping me a whole lot (in a different thread), it freezes while loading certain pages, seemingly without a pattern. I've even deleted all save data, and started over again, but the problem remained.

A friend randomly came up with the theory that the RAM space reserved for the browser might be corrupted, or still have excess data that doesn't get removed, but I don't know if that's even possible.

The Wii U's internet cache runs out fairly quickly. There's no way around deleting the data every once in a while. I was asking if you are using port forwarding or DMZ going, because those generally don't work very well, unless your internet is inherently crappy or you're trying to connect somewhere specific. The Wii U accesses internet data from your local ISP, so if you are sending a port forward to Nintendo's servers across the country or a server from across the world(for whatever reason), other intermet features may not work so well. If you send a port forward to somewhere else in the world, now the server from there has to access data that you would access locally if you didn't have port forwarding or DMZ on, if that makes sense.

That's why I don't recommend using those features, unless you live in a desert or have a specific reason why you would be connecting to something further than your local ISP.
