How does it hook up do you have to use the wii u pad on cod or can you use the pro controller ?

The headset plugs into the Gamepad for chat audio. If I want the game audio to also be in the headset in COD then I have to set the display to be mirrored on the Gamepad.

Yeah... so plug the headset into the Gamepad, set it aside then use the Pro Controller to actually play the game.
