That post in reply to mine gave no other info I haden't already read. I saw your link, read it, and came to the conclusion I already posted.
I already knew a new DKC wasn't being made even before the speculation came up. Besides, Metroid has more realistic graphics than Starfox anyways, so that just furthers my point.
Like I said, I like all of them, but it would make more sense for Starfox to make a comeback.

All of that could still point to anything. It may be a new starfox or Metroid but at the same time for all we know it could be a new IP or a revival of an older IP.

Actually I think it's not. I think what we already know is just the tip of the iceberg. We've had so many "didn't see that coming" surprises during the Nintendo directs I think Nintendo would be stupid if they hadn't a few surprises up their sleeves for a fantastic reveal at E3, especially considering how lackluster the last E3 was!

I don't see two racer games (Mario Kart 8 already confirmed + F-ZERO Wii U) to be announced at the same E3. Unfortunately, F-ZERO might be skipped again until next year.

also what i would love to see is Square Enix to come on stage and say Final Fantasy is back on a Nintendo home console (not handheld) i wouldn't care if it was a re-release of Final Fantasy XIII, the HD versions of FFX and X-2 or VsXIII hell even if they was to say there were releasing FF1 through 12 (not counting 11 of course) on the WiiU VC it would still be great news, but i guess that would never happen

I love the idea of the orchestrated music, but I would rather they use the art style of Skyward Sword. I just prefer the more fantasy setting than the realistic one. I mean, we already have enough reality in life... we don't need more of that >.< I play games to escape from reality, not to go back to it >.< I just don't understand the need of realism in games these days, I don't want every single game to turn realistic in the future, I just want plain cel-shaded colourful fantasy based goodness, but even then I don't want everything to be like that. But I would still play any LoZ game happily, not gonna lie to myself or anyone XD

I know what you mean, but keep in mind Nintendo really needs the next Zelda game to sell in large numbers. And from the level of sales each game has gotten (with Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess selling best and the DS titles selling worst), it seems plausible they'll go for a more realistic art style just to stir up hype and get the game flying off shelves.

And given that it's likely to be unveiled alongside the PS4 and Xbox 720, Nintendo really needs a game that captures everyone's interest and shows that the Wii U can handle games the same as their rival's next gen system can.

Realistic doesn't automatically mean non fantasy.

Also do you guys really think a new console Zelda is ready with EAD working on a port of Wind Waker and lttp2. I mean look at the delay between Twilight Princess and Skyward sword now factor in HD development costs and a new engine.

I predict Nintendo will show a game for the Wii U that will get it off store shelves by the holiday season (i.e. Mario Kart). That, and hopefully it has a completely different strategy for the Wii U.

Only one prediction: the Wii U presentation ends with a CGI teaser for SSB 4.

I'd almost be money on this being true. They've definitely got some big games lined up for the 2013 holiday season.

I feel like Nintendo will surprise us with unexpected 3rd party exclusives.

I dunno Man. I love Mario Kart as much as the next guy but I worry this will be really by the books. Mario Kart 7 wasn't anything revolutionary and I don't think Nintendo can put that much innovation into it with such a short time to iterate on the previous incarnation.

Honestly i'm kind of hoping for some sort of free to play port of the Kid Icarus multilayer.

Kid Icarus multiplayer won't benefit Nintendo in any way. I say Mario Kart because there isn't much else Nintendo has up its sleeve. Pokemon is booked, a 3D Mario or Legend of Zelda won't do the trick and neither will its smaller franchises.

Mario Kart is its last card to play unless there's unannounced third party support or something even better.
